God's Message of Hope

God's Purpose...Man was created to honor and serve Him.
"You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created." Revelation 4:11

Man's Problem...Sin - Man chose to sin against God rather than serve Him. No good works will make him acceptable in God's sight.
"For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 & Ephesians 2:8,9

Sin's Penalty...Death - separation from God forever. We all deserve God’s wrath to be poured out on us because we have transgressed His Law.
"For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23 & Revelation 20:15

Christ's Payment...He was our Sinless Substitute. This is the good news! God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived a perfectly sinless life. He died in our place enduring the judgment we deserved, and arose victorious over sin and death. Because He was victorious we can be as well through Him if we believe in His finished work on our behalf.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Our Pardon...Turn and Trust. We must turn from our sins, turn to follow Jesus Christ, and trust in Him as Lord and Savior alone.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" John 14:6 & Acts 3:19

God's Promise...Eternal Life.
Jesus said, "...he who hears My word, and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." John 5:24
